Still waiting ... or planning an escape??!!!

Rev Pat Southerland, Brookhaven UMC, welcomes guests and says ... it is time!

After a prayer by Chuck Calhoun, son of the bride, family members and classmates of Albany High School line "the road"!!

The bride begins her walk, and new nephew, David Waters, watches.

According to the dream, the groom was to step out from the crowd and extend his hand to the bride; but alas, he just stood there and grinned!!  So, the bride extended her hand to him!! (center of photo)

The children sang beautifully, "Hymn of Promise", with addition of Samantha and Lisa Burke from St. Timothy.

Whoops - nearly took those reading glasses to the garden!

And so ... the wedding begins!!!

Dr. Don Kea, long time friend of the bride speaks words of Love and Life.

He speaks of roads, the first day of Spring, new beginnings and new growth.

Unique vows are spoken ...

Rings of commitment are exchanged ...

And Donnie pronounces them husband and wife ...

and their first embrace as husband and wife ...

a loving glance ... their time had come!

The bride turns to give instructions to the minister ... the groom scratches his head and thinks, "nothing's changed!!!"

The couple are deeply touched as guests sing the hymn, "This Is the Day of New Beginnings"

... and are proud as nephew, Andy Casto-Waters delivers the benediction

Oh no!  Will the little stool be stable ... but of course ... the Flamingo Mat will hold it steady!!!

The bride is radiant ... the groom is ... uh ... next picture!

It is a touching moment as the guests sing, "May The Road Rise to Meet You!!"

Son, Jim Calhoun (seen between bride and groom), introduces the new couple .... and toasts his mom and new  dad!

The couple begin their first dance ...

as grandson and wife, Shaun and Sarah Graham sing, "From This Moment"!

Tables full of delicious picnic finger foods, brought by the guests can be seen in background

The couple moves forward to listen to "their song"!

And are very proud of the "Grands"!!!

  Tommy thanks family and friends for coming to witness and celebrate the wedding.  Nearly 200 guests came from California, Colorado, New York, Miami, and places in between.  It was a day, at least for the bride and groom, that was perfectly perfect!!!
