Calhoun, Ed O'Neal and Tommy bring in the Cherry Tree (gift of choir at
Brookhaven). Tommy and daughter Dianne stopped at the
McRaney's and picked up the Ivy, while son Chuck helped Beverly pick up
6 shrubs and the cherry tree (yes we got it all in
my FSU Squad Car)!! |
Tommy engineers the
tree into the church parlor.
|
The
stage extension waits to be transformed into a garden |
another
view ... |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Ed and
Susan Riffe O'Neal (54) were the first to arrive to help - Ed, Tommy and
Chuck are trying to place the cherry tree on the extension - tree is
HEAVY! |
Donnie
and Mary Dale Vansant (56) Kea arrived next to provide assistance.
Mary Dale rides her new vehicle and explains the merits of same to Susan
and Tommy! |
Donnie
tries to get folks to join him! |
Heeeeeeeeeeeeer

 |
 |
 |
 |
| Think
I'll buy one of these for the bride and myself!!! |
In the
meantime, the pastor counsels the groom! |
Back at
the garden, the preacher's wife counsels the bride! |
... and
renders valuable assistance in the garden while supervised by her
husband! |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Hark ...
something in yon garden ... |
... just
son Chuck on a nap break! |
The
RightRev Kea gives marital instructions |
... to
which the brides responds with laughter ... |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| then cogitates
on the merits thereof ... |
While Capt. O'Neal counsels the
somber groom.
|
... and
bride and groom ... with appropriate tool, smile for the camera! |
Tired,
but pleased with the garden for their wedding! |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| ... and
so a kiss, feet planted firmly on the Flamingo Mat on loan from the
O'Neals!!! |
The gathering later that evening
with friends who spent hours in heavy Friday afternoon rush hour
traffic.
|
After
Corky's BBQ sandwiches, Mary Dale, Donnie, Susan, Ed, Jerry and Harriet
Ort (55) Cornelius, Sharon Smith (58) Spies and Richard Harper
(54) helped put together wedding program. |
... they
were not in prayer! |

A
wedding gift!!! |
... the tired
couple is pleased with the beautiful gift, titled
"TOGETHER"! Such a wonderful day and evening ... friends
found their way back to motels! |
Daughter
Dianne was excused from any wedding tasks for homework that had to be
done; Chuck and friend Ward, met oldest son, Jim, at airport.
Grandchildren Shaun and wife Sarah came in as well, and all finally
settled down for a short, last night of winter's rest! |
